GENERAL MISSION
? Prepare staff food as instructed by Executive sous Chef in a professional way to ensure quality and consistency and is fully responsible for his assigned section.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS
? Check that the production is sufficient to ensure a smooth operation.
? Ensure good level of standards and quality in food preparation, production and presentation for Staff Canteen.
? Minimize breakage and spoilage.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
? Direct and supervise staff to perform duties
? Ensure that production is done to the standard of the company.
? Responsible for the preparation of menus under the direct supervision of the Executive Sous Chef, taking into consideration of the following: Company requirements; Potential costs; Availability of food products;
? Passes on to the Executive Sous Chef his daily market list requirements.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
? Train subordinates continuously in order to upgrade quality and production in a professional way.
? Responsible for the wastage and try to minimize spoilage.
? Delegate work to his subordinates to ensure a smooth operation.
