Responsibilities and means
Ensure that all repairs and preventive maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled. Responsible for the safety of hotel guests and staff.
Oversee the preventive maintenance of chiller circuits, chiller water systems, air handling units, firefighting facilities and equipment, as well as other essential systems such as swimming pool pumps and any equipment requiring regular maintenance.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Administrative responsibilities
Prepare and present the monthly P&L report in accordance with company policy. Monitor utility consumption, manage the staff weekly roster, oversee medical and vacation leave, handle correspondence, process purchase requests, and maintain store control and inventory.
Analyze complaints, review logbooks and various checklists, and oversee repair and job orders. Conduct regular meetings or briefings with staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
Technical Responsibilities
Supervise and resolve all technical issues, handling complex repairs personally when necessary.
Oversee the electrical distribution system, including incoming power supply, transformers, main and sub-switch panels, lighting, neon signs, electrical meters and equipment, telephone lines, batteries, sockets and plugs, electrical wiring and conduits, and emergency generators.
Manage HVAC systems, such as chillers with chilled water and condenser water circuits, cooling towers, air handling units, steam systems, and water pumping stations. Also responsible for laundry, kitchen equipment, elevators, sound systems, televisions, and the firefighting system.
Supervise sanitary and plumbing systems, including sewerage, water treatment plants, and swimming pool equipment. Ensure all hotel functions operate efficiently and safely.
General building maintenance
Respond to fire alarms or emergencies as they occur and investigate the cause of the alarm.
Maintain all assigned areas and equipment in top condition, ensuring cleanliness and optimal performance.
Act as the Energy Saving Leader for all Classical Service properties to achieve energy-saving targets.
Serve as the Fire & Life Safety Leader, ensuring compliance with fire and life safety standards.
Other Duties
Energy Saving Leader for all Classical Service Property to achieve energy-saving targets.
Fire & Life Safety Audit Leader for 6 areas to ensure compliance with international fire and life safety standards.
Any other duties assigned by the General Manager or Group Director of Engineering.
