? Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
? Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with experience in both food and non-food items preferred.
? Proven experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and inventory control.
? Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
? Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
? Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
? Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
? Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
? Develop and implement procurement strategies for food and non-food items that align with company goals and objectives.
? Analyze market trends and supplier performance to ensure best practices and competitive pricing.
? Forecast procurement needs based on inventory levels, and seasonal demand.
? Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for food and non-food products.
? Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
? Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and high-quality product delivery.
? Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues or concerns.
? Manage the end-to-end procurement process including order placement, tracking, and delivery.
? Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, minimizing disruptions to operations.
? Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
? Oversee the processing of purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
? Ensure all food and non-food items meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
? Implement and monitor quality control procedures for purchased items.
? Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers.
? Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
? Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
? Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and financial metrics to senior management.
