- Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the hotel to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies in line with the hotel's standards and objectives.
- Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry staff, and housekeeping supervisors.
- Schedule staff shifts and assignments effectively to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Plan and manage the department budget and prepare reports for the General Manager.
- Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and cost.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Handle guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping matters with professionalism and efficiency.
- Monitor guest satisfaction surveys to address any issues that arise and find effective solutions to enhance guest experiences.
- Implement and enforce environmental sustainability initiatives within the housekeeping department.
