? Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives, including cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management.
? Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services at competitive prices.
? Develop and manage procurement budgets, monitor spending, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
? Coordinate inventory levels to meet operational needs while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
? Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in procurement activities. Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier quality issues, and other procurement-related risks.
? Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
? Supervise and lead a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure high performance and productivity.
