- Certificate in salon and beauty, or related field
- Working knowledge of skincare therapies, hair - - treatment and products, beauty products and trends.
- Previous salon and beauty experience
- Strong creative skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple demands concurrently.
- Can do attitudes with a good service mind.
- Able to work as a team and individually.
- Well-groomed and high standard of personal hygiene
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
- Shampooing, cutting, styling, and coloring hair, as massaging and treating scalps.
- Applying makeup, performing facials, and recommending skincare therapies.
- Performing manicures and pedicures, and color recommendations.
- Suggesting guidelines on personal skincare regimes.
- Recommending beauty therapies and products.
- Making appointments and documenting treatments.
- Keeping Salon facility and tools clean and sterile.
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of the salon facility.
- Follow and maintain standard operation procedures, policies, and procedures to optimize workflow and enhance the customer experience.
- Being punctual and on-time of salon treatment schedule
- Checking and monitoring stock and ensuring there are adequate supplies.
- Stay up to date with current techniques and modalities related to spa trends.
- Communicate effectively with spa manager, and other multidisciplinary team members.
