- Understands and strictly adheres to rules and regulations established in Employee Handbook and company policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Attends and contributes to all meetings and trainings as required.
- Provides a courteous and professional service at all times.
- Maintains positive colleague interactions with good working relationships.
1.Greets and interacts with arriving guests, ensures guest?s first impression.
2.Assesses available table for guests and escorts them to the table.
3.Estimates wait times for guests, monitors guest waiting list.
4.Ensures that waiting guests are made comfortable and kept informed of the status of their waiting times to be seated or waiting for take orders.
5.Monitors the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.
6.Answers telephone receives reservations and organizes tables to accommodate large parties.
7.Takes initial drink orders.
8.Records number of covers and turn-over of operation shift.
