QUALIFICATIONS:
? Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Head Bartender in a high-volume, upscale bar setting.
? Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and inventory management.
? Leadership skills with experience in staff training and performance management.
? Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
? Commitment to exceptional guest service and team development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service, operational excellence, and high standards of beverage quality and presentation.
2. Staff Leadership: Hire, train, and lead the bar staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, continuous learning, and enthusiasm for the beverage industry.
3. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop and update the bar menu, incorporating innovative cocktails, sustainable practices, and responding to the latest trends and guest preferences.
4. Financial Oversight: Manage the bar?s financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, pricing strategies, and inventory management, to achieve profitability and operational efficiency.
5. Guest Experience: Ensure the bar provides an exceptional beverage experience for guests, contributing to overall satisfaction and loyalty. Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
6. Quality and Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. Ensure the bar operations adhere to all legal requirements regarding alcohol service.
7. Supplier Management: Work with the Beverage Manager to select and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring the procurement of quality ingredients and supplies at competitive prices.
8. Training and Development: Implement ongoing training programs for bar staff to enhance their mixology skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities.
9. Innovation and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and mixology techniques to continually innovate the bar?s offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
10. Team and Performance Management: Evaluate staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to motivate and develop the bar team.
