Security Manager

? A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, hospitality management, or a related field is typically required.
? Previous experience in security management, law enforcement, or military roles is often required, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
? In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies relevant to the hospitality industry.
? Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate security teams, delegate tasks, and promote a culture of safety and professionalism.
? Proficiency in emergency response protocols, crisis management, and coordination with local law enforcement and emergency services.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, guests, management, and external stakeholders.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security challenges, identify vulnerabilities, and implement effective solutions.
? Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain accuracy in security documentation, incident reports, and investigative procedures.
? Familiarity with security technologies such as CCTV systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and incident management software.

? Develop, implement, and oversee security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
? Supervise and manage security staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
? Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
? Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fires, medical emergencies, and security threats.
? Utilize security systems, CCTV cameras, and monitoring tools to oversee and track activities across the property.
? Conduct internal investigations related to security incidents, thefts, or breaches of security protocols. Coordinate with law enforcement if necessary.
? Work closely with other departments, such as Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering, to ensure coordinated security measures and responses.
? Assist guests with security-related concerns or requests and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction regarding safety and security.
? Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including disturbances, thefts, or unauthorized activities.
? Develop strategies to minimize security risks and enhance overall security posture based on industry best practices.
? Maintain open communication channels with management, staff, and external partners regarding security matters and updates.
