A Food and Beverage Manager is a professional who is responsible for managing and overseeing all food and beverage operations in a hospitality establishment. They are in charge of ensuring high-quality service, effective cost management, and guest satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
- Establish and uphold exceptional standards of both internal and external customer service.
- Standardize portions used and be responsible for the control of food, beverage, and costs.
- Design exceptional food and beverage promotions and menus, purchase goods, and continuously make necessary improvements in collaboration with other departments such as sales, marketing, and events to coordinate F&B services for special events or conferences.
- Identify customers? needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns.
- Supervise and train F&B staff to ensure exceptional service delivery and adherence to standards.
- Monitor and analyze sales and financial reports, implementing strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs.
