- The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring that orders are delivered from the
kitchen to the guests' tables accurately and promptly. They act as a liaison between
the kitchen and the front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Collect orders from the kitchen and verify their accuracy.
- Deliver food to guests' tables quickly and professionally, without disrupting other diners.
- Proving information about the food served to customers when necessary or when wait staff is not around.
- Answering customers inquiry professionally.
Assist in setting tables and arranging tableware as needed.
- Clear tables as guests complete their meals, preparing them for the next guests.
- Work closely with wait staff to ensure that guests' needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, including food service areas and kitchen.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, as well as safety and sanitation
guidelines.
