- Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and daily operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to set recipes and presentation specifications.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals as needed.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to ensure it meets health and safety
standards.
