Assistant Director of Finance

? Proven experience in a finance management role, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles, analysis, and reporting.

? Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
? Proficiency in financial software, Commanche systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
? Solid knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and accounting standards.
? Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
? Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
? Leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing and developing a finance team.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role involves overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, and providing insightful analysis to support optimal financial outcomes. The Finance Manager will collaborate across departments, contributing to the achievement of our financial objectives while upholding the highest standards of integrity and accuracy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Partner with the Director of Finance to develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and growth trajectory.
? Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
? Manage the preparation and analysis of financial reports, providing valuable insights to aid in decision-making and performance evaluation.
? Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic priorities.
? Monitor key financial indicators and market trends, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
? Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation, track spending, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
? Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, keeping the organization up-to-date with changes in accounting standards.
? Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team, fostering professional growth and maintaining a high-performance culture.
? Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
? Support the Director of Finance in financial presentations and communications to senior management and stakeholders.
