? Bachelor's degree or higher in Hotel Management or related field
? Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience at the Front Office (night shift)
? Through knowledge of the Front Office procedures and familiarity with the various services provided by the hotel
? Ability to receive guests in a friendly and courteous manner
? Ability to manage and motivate staff
? Strong sense of responsibility, alert and agile, pleasant personality.
? Excellent organization and time management skills
? Experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks
? Assists the Front Office Manager in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times
? Establishes rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship and handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on Front Office services
? Conducts night-shift briefings to employees on rooms occupancy, arrival and departures or reservation takes place late or during the night, and special attention that is needed
? Coordinates all Repair and Maintenance and issue repair and maintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance to rectify quickly the situation, reaching the guest satisfaction
? The Night Manager will be in permanent contact with the Front Office Manager to report any guest comment, or problem and to ensure a good co-ordination and quick communication on both sides.
? Works with Housekeeping and Engineering Department to ensure that rooms are blocked accordingly for maintenance
? Ensures that all rooms are pre-blocked accordingly to arrival time and housekeeping is informed
