- Arrive at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance, according to the staff handbook.
- Have a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa, energy lab, arena.
- Ensure that chemical are available, current and in effect and available for all staffs to use as reference.
- Ensure that par levels of linen, toweling and uniforms are current, a summary report should be sent to accounts.
- Assist Executive Housekeeper with linen inventory.
- Ensure that all employees are clean, neat and wearing the correct uniform.
- Immediate response to any guest problems and correspondence.
- Ensure that any non-inventory item found in laundry should be taken immediately to lost found department in housekeeping.
- Maintain a regular quality control inspection of department standards.
- Develop and maintain a motivational working environment within the department and positive relations with other departments.
- Train staff to become multi skilled in all facets of laundry
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Attend meeting as required.
- Perform other duty as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
