-2 years experience in Reservation Supervisor
- Knowledge of Opera system and able to start in
short notice is a plus
- Able to communicate in English
1. To response and accountable for all operations in relation to the Reservation area of the hotel whilst on duty. All computer input, manual filling procedures and statistical information relevant to reservations must be of high quality.
2. To ensure at all time that the travel agent receives the correct commission on time, and the hotel does not at any times forfeit revenue due to over payment of unnecessary commission amounts.
3. To direct and coordinate subordinate reservation staff to ensure that day to day operational matters are handled on time
4. To handle all reservation correspondence and inquiries quickly, efficiently and accurately
5. To ensure that all information relating to a reservation is keyed correctly into the system and is of highest quality and error are kept to an absolute minimum.
6. To regularly update the database ensuring accuracy of details
7. To monitor and controls the hotel overbooking status ensuring it remains within the predetermined levels
8. To ensure that all telephone enquiries are provided with concise information concerning the services and facilities provided by the hotel.
9. To maximize the room revenue of the hotel by up selling all hotel products and services
10. To maintain and be aware of the importance of guest recognition.
11. To ensure that all guests- quires and requests are attended to in a helpful, processional yet warm and friendly manner.
12. To be advice relevant Senior Management of all incoming VIP guests so that special requirements that may need to be attended to are action accordingly.
13. To ensure that clear and constant communication lines are kept with all staff, and other department.
14. To acquire, through training provided a complete knowledge of all policies and procedures as set down by Senior Management that relate to the Reservation area.
15. To ensure that you are completely aware of the complete range of services and facilities that the hotel will provide to its guest and visitors.
