Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or customer service environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera, PMS) and basic computer skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a customer-focused mindset.
Summary:
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of the hotel, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests. You will handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries while ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience.
1. Guest Interaction:
Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and genuine warmth.
Assist with check-in and check-out processes efficiently, adhering to hotel policies.
Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
2. Reservations and Coordination:
Manage room reservations and cancellations accurately using the hotel's reservation system.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and special requests.
3. Financial Transactions:
Process payments, issue invoices, and handle cash or card transactions securely.
Reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports as required.
4. Communication and Problem Solving:
Serve as the main point of contact for guests, providing information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
Proactively resolve issues and escalate matters to the appropriate department if needed.
5. Compliance and Standards:
Adhere to hotel standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow GDPR or similar regulations.
6. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide feedback to management for improving guest experiences.
