Job Description: Night Manager - Hotel
Role:
The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the overnight shift, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests, managing staff, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth operations across all departments during nighttime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Night Operations: Manage all hotel operations during the night shift, including guest check-in/check-out, handling reservations, and responding to guest requests and concerns.
Guest Service: Provide excellent customer service to overnight guests, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
Staff Supervision: Supervise night shift staff, including front desk agents, security, and housekeeping teams. Ensure all staff are performing their duties and adhering to hotel standards.
Security and Safety: Ensure the security of the hotel, including monitoring security systems, conducting regular security checks, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Operational Coordination: Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B) to ensure that guest needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
Reporting: Prepare nightly reports on hotel occupancy, guest issues, financial transactions, and staff performance. Report any incidents or unusual activities to management.
Cash Handling: Manage cash, credit card transactions, and ensure accurate billing for overnight guests.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements during the night shift.
Problem Solving: Act as the point of contact for resolving guest issues or complaints during the night, ensuring that guest satisfaction is maintained.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or customer service environment, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities. Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS).
Languages: Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Working Conditions:
Full-time, night shift position. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Flexibility is required.
