Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
? 1-2 years of experience in a revenue management or analytical role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
? Proficiency in revenue management systems, property management systems, and Excel.
? Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
? Excellent communication and organizational skills, with an eye for detail.
? Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills:
? Familiarity with OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) and their rate management processes.
? Knowledge of hotel-specific metrics (ADR, RevPAR, occupancy rates) and industry best practices.
Position Overview:
The Revenue Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing hotel revenue through effective rate monitoring, analysis, and adjustment. This position supports the Management team by providing insights on market trends, competitor pricing, and demand fluctuations, ensuring the hotel remains competitive and achieves optimal occupancy and profitability. The Revenue Analyst will leverage data to make data-driven pricing recommendations and support the hotel?s overall revenue management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Rate Monitoring & Adjustment:
? Monitor daily hotel rates and occupancy across all channels, adjusting rates as needed based on demand patterns, market trends, and competitor rates.
? Analyze and implement pricing strategies in alignment with the hotel?s revenue goals.
? Ensure rate parity across all distribution channels.
2. Market Analysis:
? Conduct competitor benchmarking and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
? Develop regular reports on competitive positioning, local market trends, and demand forecasts.
? Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to adjust pricing strategies based on external and internal data insights.
3. Demand Forecasting:
? Support the development of accurate demand forecasts by analyzing booking patterns, historical data, and current trends.
? Work with the Revenue Manager to adjust forecasts based on changes in booking trends and market dynamics.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
? Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key revenue metrics (e.g., ADR, RevPAR, occupancy) to relevant stakeholders.
? Assist in data-driven decision-making by generating actionable insights from revenue data and performance metrics.
5. System Management & Optimization:
? Utilize revenue management systems to support dynamic pricing and inventory optimization.
? Identify and suggest system enhancements or best practices to improve efficiency in rate management.
6. Collaboration & Communication:
? Work closely with sales, marketing, and front office teams to ensure revenue strategies align with overall hotel objectives.
? Support the Revenue Manager in strategy meetings, presenting data, insights, and recommendations as needed.
