- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a kitchen steward or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper dishwashing and sanitation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
- Strong teamwork and commitment skills.
- Willingness to work flexibly hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently to clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes. Hand wash delicate or oversized items and ensure proper storage after cleaning. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in dishwashing area.
- Food preparation areas, work surfaces and kitchen equipment according to HACCP standards. Regularly empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
