KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary ? (Role Summary)
? Ensures the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems within the property. Cluster Chief Engineer oversees maintenance activities, manages the engineering tribe, and implements strategies to optimize the efficiency and safety of the property?s facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities ? (Key Activities of the role)
? Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all property?s systems and equipment.
? Ensures all engineering tribe follow the Engineering Standards and Procedures as issued.
? Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring that all tribe understand their roles and perform them effectively.
? Responsible for the proper organization and functioning of the energy management function.
? Support and initiate programs for continuous improvement procedures in the reduction of energy and utility costs.
? Analyze and monitor energy costs and expenditure for the department.
? Maintain an equipment and machinery record system for the property.
? Document and seek approval from PM / OM policies and procedures for a more economical operation and maintenance program.
? Prepare the annual POMEC Budget.
? Prepare capital expenditure budget.
? Interact and cooperate with guests and outside contractors as directed.
? Cooperate and communicate with other sections in the Engineering department.
? Interact and cooperate with other departments to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities.
? Conduct shift briefings to ensure property activities and operational requirements are known
? Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as power outages, natural disasters, or equipment failures.
? Ensure that house rules are followed and obeyed
? Ensure punctual attendance and adherence to duty schedules by all supervisors & tribe
? Ensure that personal grooming and hygiene standards are being observed
? Provide training to the tribe on emergency protocols and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
? Effective communication skills when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, tribe and third parties that reflects highly on the property, the brand and the Company
? Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the tribe.
? Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
? Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
? Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
