Main responsibilities include:
Provides guests with assistance at the front desk during the check-in and check-out processes and throughout
their stay:
? Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner according to the standards
? Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests
? Perform accurate and efficient check-ins and check-outs of guests daily
? Answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner
? Make reservations over the phone and in person during the reservation department is not available
? Effectively check reservations daily for accuracy and identify any special requests ? today?s
? Arrival and the next three days
? Liaising with housekeeping and any other concerning department to ensure information is passed on for room requests and special requests
? Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring it balances correctly at the end of shift
? Anticipate and address guest?s needs and act instantly to deliver solutions their issue in an appropriate method

? Listen to guest?s comments, complaints or concerns and consult the case with supervisor to resolve their issue in an appropriate method
? Promote a clean, tidy and safe working environment
? Learn and adhere to all fire and emergency procedures, including procedures for handling of the fire panel, ensuring guest safety and participate in an evacuation if necessary
? Comply with the Hotel Policies and Procedures
? Performs any additional tasks which are assigned by supervisor
? Uniform and personal appearance are kept clean and professional and are in accordance with the Grooming Policy

? Offer guests updates to rooms and promotes hotel amenities, food and beverage outlets and services.
? Process customer credit at check-in in accordance with hotel policy.

? Follow hotel policy on cash banks ? at all times adheres to credit limits and procedures as set down by the Financial Controller.
? Obtain appropriate approvals and signatures. Maximise revenue by promoting hotel services and adhering to credit and inventory control processes:
? Offer guests updates to rooms and promotes hotel amenities, food and beverage outlets and services.

Other responsibilities include:
? Actively work on building connection with guests and encourage them to share positive comments online, such as TripAdvisor, Facebook and Google
? Make sure to standby in the lobby area to promptly service guests and facilitate their needs
? Have deep knowledge about hotel?s facilities and outlets as well as the opening hours of each one
? Escort guests to their accommodation and inform them of hotel information as well as current promotions in a professionally manner
? Maintain hotel and guest security and confidentiality at all times and reports any relevant information to a supervisor or manager
