Requirements:
1. Culinary degree from a recognized institution or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant, with at least 3 years in Thai cuisine.
3. Proven track record of creating innovative menus and successfully managing kitchen operations.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
5. In-depth knowledge of Thai cuisine, modern cooking techniques, and international culinary trends.
6. Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
7. Proficiency in English and Thai.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Strong skills in pizza making and pastry creation, with the ability to develop unique and high-quality offerings in these areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and service.
2. Develop and implement innovative menus that highlight modern Thai cuisine while respecting traditional flavors and techniques.
3. Manage food costs, labor costs, and kitchen supplies to ensure profitability and efficiency.
4. Hire, train, and manage a diverse team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
5. Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
6. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
7. Foster relationships with local farmers, suppliers, and purveyors to source the highest quality ingredients.
8. Continuously improve kitchen processes, techniques, and equipment to maintain a state-of-the-art culinary operation.
9. Engage with guests and respond to feedback to ensure exceptional dining experiences.
10. Represent Tribe at industry events, media appearances, and culinary competitions.
