Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and train a team of reservation agents to achieve departmental goals and provide outstanding customer service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
Reservation Management:
- Oversee the reservation system and ensure accurate and timely processing of bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
- Monitor reservation trends, analyze data, and develop strategies to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance measures to uphold service standards and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits of reservation transactions to identify errors, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement.
- Provide ongoing training and support to reservation agents to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between the reservation department and other departments such as sales, marketing, and operations.
- Communicate regularly with management to report on reservation performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop promotional offers, packages, and pricing strategies.
Technology Utilization:
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in reservation management technology.
- Leverage reservation software and tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the customer experience.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support for resolution as needed.
