?Proven experience working as a Breakfast Chef in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality breakfast dishes.
?Strong culinary skills and knowledge of breakfast cuisine, including various cooking techniques and presentation styles.
?Ability to create and execute breakfast menus that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.
?Experience in managing kitchen operations and leading a team of kitchen staff.
?Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
?Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
?Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
?Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
?Flexibility to work early morning shifts and weekends as required.
?Strong command of the English language
?Create innovative and balanced dishes while considering dietary restrictions, seasonality, and guest preferences.
?Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to recipes and established standards.
?Ensure that all dishes are prepared to perfection, meeting quality and presentation standards.
?Set up and organize the breakfast station before service. Ensure that all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment are available and in good working condition.
?Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the breakfast station.
?Coordinate breakfast orders efficiently with other kitchen stations to ensure timely and synchronized service.
?Monitor the quality and consistency of breakfast dishes throughout the service.
?Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff, such as Commis chefs and Stewards.
?Provide guidance on breakfast cooking techniques, recipe execution, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
?Assist in monitoring and controlling inventory for ingredients, ensuring adequate stock levels. Notify the Executive chef of any shortages or the need for replenishment.
? Minimize food waste and maintain proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
?Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the breakfast menu and introduce seasonal specials or promotions. Stay updated on food trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques to bring creativity and innovation to the breakfast offerings.
?Collaborate effectively with the Executive chef, and other kitchen team members.
?Follow all applicable health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
?Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and ensure that the staff follows proper safety protocols.
?Oversee and manage the kitchen operations in the outlet, ensuring high culinary standards and exceptional guest experiences.
?Monitor inventory levels, order ingredients, and manage food costs for the second outlet.
?Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing strategies and promotions
?Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at the second outlet.
?Maintain effective communication and teamwork among kitchen staff, front-of-house staff, and management.
?Assist with any other culinary requirements or special events as needed.
