Requirements
The skills, knowledge, and other qualities expected of the hotel receptionist include the following:
- Exhibit excellent knowledge of customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good working capability in the English language & fluent Thai
- Must be disciplined and organised.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good crisis management skills.
- Calm and relaxed way of dealing with customers
60% - Customer Service: Greet customers, make them feel welcome and a part of the Mad Monkey family. Help customers with any questions, complaints, or wishes they may have concerning their travels, rooms, F&B, activities, tours. Offer friendly support to try to ensure they have an problem free stay.
20% - Account & EPOS Reconciliation: Reconcile the daily point of sale accounts accounts, ensuring high standards and double checking every number for correctness. Be alert and aware of any inconsistencies and report them to management.
20% - Rooms & Booking management: Ensure smooth operations of the rooms department, coordinating efficiently with housekeeping, managing customer bookings to maximize occupancy, and relaying any maintenance or malfunction issues to management.
